1. Who we are

GenAI Applied ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered learning platform that helps people understand and apply artificial intelligence in their work. You can contact us at madhavsai25@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

We collect the following personal data when you use our platform:

• Email address and full name, when you create an account
• Your email address and the course you chose, when you join a waitlist
• Your answers during the assessment, typed or spoken
• For the voice assessment: your voice is streamed to Google's Gemini API to run the conversation, and we store the text transcript of the conversation, not the audio
• The AI-generated playbook created for your profile, and any changes you request to it
• How you first reached us: the site that linked to you or a campaign tag, and the first page you opened. This is saved with your account so we know which channels bring people to us
• Anonymous visit counts (page, referring site, country, device type), with no cookies and nothing that identifies you

3. How we use your data

Your data is used only to provide and improve our service:

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

• Generating and updating your personalised AI playbook
• Saving your progress across visits
• Telling you when a course you joined the waitlist for opens
• Improving question quality and playbook relevance

4. Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the service: Google (Gemini AI models, which process your assessment answers and voice), Vercel (website hosting and anonymous visit counts), Render and Supabase (our servers and database) and Resend (the emails we send you, such as verifying your address). They process data on our behalf and only for providing the service.

5. Data storage

Your data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database. Assessment session data is retained for 72 hours; account, playbook and waitlist data are retained until you ask us to delete them.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal data at any time, and leave a waitlist whenever you like. Email madhavsai25@gmail.com to make a request.

7. Cookies

We use your browser's localStorage, not tracking cookies, to keep you signed in and save your progress. See our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will tell you about significant changes by email.
